"The Dance of the Pope" Phone Virus Spam Message

If you're checking your Facebook newsfeed time to time or you might updating your smartphone inbox, there's an 'urgent' message circulating via SMS and social media posts that warns users not to accept a video called 'The Dance of The Pope' because it is a very dangerous virus that will format your mobile phone.

According to the text message, if you click that video, there will be a virus that will format your mobile phone ans can access your information.

The text message goes like this:

URGENT: Tell all contacts from your list not to accept a video called the dance of the Pope. It is a virus that formats your mobile. Beware it is very dangerous. They announced it today on the radio. Pass on to as many as you can. It was announced on the radio in USA.

Earlier, one of my contacts in the Philippines forwarded the same text in my number. Here's the screenshot:

Currently, there's no reported incident that actually clicked tthe video and I don't even see any videos at the moment.

So please beware of sending chain messages and spam texts that might ruin your day. Haha!

Anyway, is Pope can really dance? I think, yes and I would love to see him dancing with a tune of Ariel 7.50 TV commercial jingle! :)
