Potts Point Café MOA (SM Mall of Asia) Food Review

Let me share with you my new food place discovery at SM Mall of Asia – the Potts Point Café. This newly opened restaurant is their second branch located at the second level of SM MOA Seaside Veranda Mall, Pasay City, Philippines.

Potts Point Café is manage by the same group behind The Old Spaghetti House. They are offering quality healthy dishes in which each of the ingredients are purely organic. I am not an avid fan of organic food but Potts Point Café sounds interesting.

The restaurant is well ventilated with its high ceiling structure. The ambiance is prominently decorated with neutral colors (walang kaarte-arte..simple!) and properly lighted - perfect for food photography. HAHA!

They also have al fresco area over seeing the Manila Bay - perfect for smokers or just a simple dinner night out with your friends and family.
Cream of Organic Cauliflower Soup with Truffle Foam (P180.00)

To start up our lunch, we had a Cream of Organic Cauliflower Soup with Truffle Foam. It's like the usual squash soup but after a minute or two, you will get the taste of a cauliflower.
Shakshuka (P265.00)

For our appetizer we were served with Shakshuka with organic pork sausage and organic eggs with toasted baguette.

After the "pampagana", it's time for the main course. During our lunch, we had several meals to choose from and for me, the highlight of my food experience in Potts Point Cafe is the Australian Grass-fed Beef Burger with Baked Sweet Potato Wedges.
Australian Grass-fed Beef Burger with Baked Sweet Potato Wedges (P395.00)

This burger looks like a typical burger from other resto or fast food chain. But the good thing about this is, it's all organic! The burger patty is made of grass-fed beef partnered with Australian Cheddar, Pickled Beets and Olive Oil Aioli. To complete your "organic living" experience, Potts Point Cafe is using a House-made Brioche Bun. (Oh diba, sa sobrang ogranic, pwede kana itapon sa "BIODEGRADABLE" pagkatapos kumaen. HAHA).
Aside from it is healthy, this burger is truly masarap - not too oily and not too salty! Also, the baked sweet potato wedges compliment the taste of the burger. I just don't know if the catsup is 100% organic. ☺
Thai Chopped Salad (P245.00)
Aside from burger, we also had Thai Chopped Salad with grilled chicken, crispy wanton and pomelo. Just a bit caution to those who really loves eating Thai food, this Potts Point Cafe's version of Thai Chopped Salad is not that authentic compare to other Thai resto. But it tastes good naman
Salmon Linguine (P365.00)
For additional carbs, we had Salmon Linguine with capers in dill cream sauce. You won't taste the difference versus the non-organic pasta unless you are a regularly eating organic foods.
Roast Austaralian Lamb with Brown Rice (P595.00)

Last but not the least is the Roast Austaralian Lamb with Brown Rice. I'm not an avid fan of brown rice but this one really tastes very organic. I'm not sure if it’s because of the Australian Lamb with Bone Marrow that doesn't complement with brown rice.

I think, those organic food lovers would totally like this one (pero ako, hindi ko talaga siya nagustuhan )

Strawberry, Kiwi and Mango Trifle (P185.00)
To complete our food adventure, we had Strawberry, Kiwi and Mango Trifle for dessert. It’s like the normal trifle made with light vanilla custard and cookie crumble. Nothing special about it.
English Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream (P210.00)
Another sweet treat from Potts Point Café is the English Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream. Since I have a sweet tooth, I really love this simple bread pudding topped with toffee syrup. And to make it sweeter, you need to dip it with vanilla ice cream (Heaven! ♥ ♥ ♥).

Tiramisu Delano Affogato(P175.00)
But if you don’t like a too sweet item for dessert, Potts Point Café also has Tiramisu Delano Affogato for a bitter sweet delight!

The Promdi Boy Final Verdict
Overall, Potts Point Café is a perfect place for people who are concerned about their lifestyle and healthy diet. The price is very reasonable for their quality food. Location is 'perfect five' because it's very accessible as well as the ambiance - very simple and modern.

For the service, they need to improve the attentiveness of the crew and medyo hindi pa sanay ang mga attendants (maybe because they are newly opened)
