3M Philippines: Get Hooked on DIY

3M Philippines, in partnership with Summit Media, brings back the most exciting home improvement event for homemakers, dubbed as the Get Hooked on DIY featuring Command Damage-Free Hanging Solutions. The event happened last November 15, 2014 at the Event Area of SM North Edsa promoting proper wall organizing system as the key to solve space management dilemas.

Now on its 4th year, the event actively advocates empowerment to homemakers on all age groups. For their first caravan, I am lucky to be part of this home improvement event. Thanks to Que Sullanoe of www.lifeofque.com for this cool opportunity. This will be my preparation for my future family life. HAHA

I arrived at around 2:00 in the afternoon and started to roam around the activity area. The organizers prepared different booths for the participants that showcased different 3M's products:

1. Are You In Command?

2. Bathroom Battle

3. Prep The Dorm Challenge

4. Handing In Frames

5. Be A Commando and Do-It-Yourself

(tadan!!) I completed the stamps! After that, I submitted the form and I got free 3M products! :)

Hosted by Angel Jacob, the main program started around 3:30pm with an opening message from 3M Philippines Product Manager for Consumer and Home Improvement Division, Jermit Rabonza.

3M Philippines and Summit Media also invited space and design experts to educate the participants with solutions to tackle current home space management and design concerns. First on the list is from Good Housekeeping Magazinr, Trisha Alavarez-Angluben.

She shared some insights in space management and organization on how to maximize 3M products from living room to kitchen and up to bathroom area.

Another design and space improvement expert, Ms. Coni Tejada, shared some Do-It-Yourself ideas using different materials. Some of the cool DIY stuff are the following:

Celebrity parents and DIYers, Cheska and Doug Kramer - Command Brand ambassador, also shared some practical home improvement tips as well as cool parenting tips that worked with them for their kids.

At the end of the program, participants had a chance to meet & greet #TeamKramer (and of course photo opportunity. Haha).
